The Templo das Águias Church was born on June 4th, 2000, from a call and vision given to the founders of this work, Apostle Sergio de Castro and Pastors Sergio Negrão, Iran Negrão and their respective families, with the purpose of becoming a relevant Church, which obeys and practices the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Purpose of Existence
The IETA was born to announce to the world something so exceptional and that truly comes to satisfy the highest spiritual desires of the human being. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ:
To be a relevant church in our society, to express the gospel of Jesus in a way that reaches man in his needs.
To bring man closer to God, to help him grow in faith through discipleship and fellowship groups; to train leaders through the ministry school; to plant new churches in Brazil and abroad.
A dream of a Church.
The incessant search for the presence and model of God for our Church, giving the best we have for the Lord. Walking in Love and Commitment, in Authority and Submission, Repentance and Forgiveness, in Holiness, Loyalty, Truth, Justice, Peace, Fidelity, Unity and Transparency.
A DREAM OF A CHURCH
I dream of a church that is a place where the afflicted, depressed, frustrated and confused find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, direction and encouragement.
I dream of a church that grows through groups, that strengthen the family, that integrate the excluded and encourage the integrated.
I dream of a church that shares the good news of Jesus Christ.
I dream of a church that helps develop people’s spiritual maturity through Biblical instruction.
I dream of a church that encourages each person to live a meaningful life.
I dream of a church, that its members get involved in social projects, helping people in need to alleviate their pain.
I dream of a church with a modern, bold and courageous vision, that has its eyes on the future, but makes a difference in society today.
I dream of a church where people, when they participate, receive a dose of affection and encouragement to face their challenges with faith. And trust.
I dream of a church where a message is heard that is applicable to human needs and preached with love, competence and responsibility.
I dream of a church of happy people, a nice place to be, where people feel welcome.
I dream of a church that is not perfect, but healed.
When you dream alone it’s a simple dream, but when you dream together the dream comes true.
